our journey has inspired the products we craft.

our health journey
When we first got married, we were excited to buy our first home. Although the house was a fixer-upper, we knew this is where our family's story would begin. We couldn't wait to raise our children on eight acres of land filled with wildflowers, large oak trees, and all sorts of wildlife.
After five years, homeownership soon took a turn for the worse when our family started getting sick. It turns out we were getting sick from toxic mold in our home. We started seeing an integrative doctor to receive treatment and learned we needed to ditch the chemicals and toxins from our food as well as household cleaning and beauty products.
"Eating clean, real food and utilizing only 100 percent natural products made a significant impact on our well-being. This cultivated our drive to spread awareness of the significance that pure, simple and clean products can have on our overall wellness. This is where the idea of Nature Inspired emerged."
our children
Another motivator behind starting this company was the birth of our son, Nolan. In August of 2016, our sweet baby boy arrived. Moments after the nurse placed Nolan on Ashley's chest, she realized he might have come with something extra special. The nurses confirmed he had specific markers indicating he might have Down Syndrome.
Nolan's first few years were filled with playing in the outdoors. He loved exploring nature, mainly splashing in puddles and feeding his chickens grapes and any other food he could find. Then, when Nolan turned three, he was diagnosed with Autism.
While the countless hours of in-home and outpatient therapy have provided him with significant benefits, we soon realized Nolan's most extraordinary form of therapy is nature itself.
"When Nolan is outside, he shines. It is as if the dirt between his toes and trees swaying in the wind transforms him into a place of healing and opens the door for learning."
A few years after Nolan was born, our sweet and caring daughter, Brooklyn, made her way into the world. At three years old, Brooklyn has already become Nolan's protector. She loves all things animals and helping dad in the soap workshop. Some of our bars of soaps have had the tree design stamped in there by Brooklyn herself.
Crafting a legacy for our children is what we set out to do. We hope they learn a sense of responsibility and accomplishment by tending to our herd of goats or taking care of the garden of herbs we use to make the soap.
